With the advent of quick strike passing attacks and teams incorporating more spread principals into their offenses the position of linebacker has changed quite a bit. However this doesn’t mean that the importance of linebackers has dropped as the elite prospects are still going early in the NFL Draft. This year’s class so far looks to have several top prospects that could go in the first round while also providing unique skill sets and some overall depth.
