Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf received great news from his team of doctors Friday. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Metcalf has been cleared to resume football activities without any restrictions.

Metcalf is in the mix to be the first receiver drafted in April and checks many of the boxes required to be an early first-round pick. One of the biggest concerns about Metcalf was his health, but with Friday’s news, it’s safe to move forward with confidence in Metcalf’s evaluation.
At 6-3 and 225 pounds, Metcalf blends ideal size with a springy first step and enough speed to make field-flipping plays. He’ll be a fun player to watch at the scouting combine in February.
