2020 Buffalo Bills Team Needs

With Free Agency about to begin it is the perfect time to take a look at the team needs for each team as we get closer to the 2019 NFL Draft. Listed below are the Buffalo Bills Team Needs as they head into the 2020 NFL Draft listed in order of importance.

2020 Buffalo Bills Team Needs

Receiver

Josh Allen has shown vast improvement over his first two years in the NFL, but if the Buffalo Bills want him to take the next step in his development, they need to give him some help at receiver. Adding John Brown and Cole Beasley helped but getting a true number one receiver who can go up and get the ball could really help since Allen isn’t a pin point thrower.

Cornerback

With Tre’Davious White the Bills have a true number one cornerback and are now looking to find someone to pair opposite of them. Sure Josh Norman was signed to reunite with Sean McDermott, but with Norman’s struggles in Washington can we assume he’ll rebound to his Carolina form? Look for the Bills to add several pieces at the cornerback position to hedge their bets.

Defensive End

The Bills 44 total sacks was good for 12th best in the NFL but were led by defensive tackle Jordan Phillips with 9.5 sacks. While Buffalo has some good pieces with Shaq Lawson, Trent Murphy and Jerry Hughes who combined for 16 sacks, the Bills could benefit by adding a dynamic rusher that could take this defense to the next level.

Running Back

At one point Buffalo had Frank Gore, LeSean McCoy and Devin Singletary all in their backfield but now are left with just Singletary. And for as much promise as Singletary showed in his rookie year, the Bills are a run heavy team and could use a good one, two punch. Look for Buffalo to use a mid round pick on the position adding someone who could be a between the tackle runner to compliment Singletary.

Offensive Live

Buffalo invested heavily last offseason in their offensive line which showed overall improvement, but Josh Allen is still being sacked on 7.6% of his drop backs. Starting guard Quinton Spain is a free agent and whether or not they sign him, they could either add another guard or take a tackle and sliding Cody Ford inside is a possibility.
