2020 Los Angeles Rams Team Needs

March 31, 2020

With Free Agency winding down it is the perfect time to take a look at the team needs for each team as we get closer to the 2020 NFL Draft. Listed below are the Los Angeles Rams Team Needs as they head into the 2020 NFL Draft listed in order of importance.

2020 Los Angeles Rams Team Needs

Interior Offensive Line

The Rams are soft in the middle of their offense. This creates major problems for quarterback Jared Goff who has a hard time dealing with interior pressure. I could see multiple spots on the interior of the offensive line where the Rams could upgrade.

The Rams most experienced and talented linebacker is Leonard Floyd who didn’t see the end of his rookie contract with the Bears. In other words, this is not a good group. The Rams need to address this in a big way if they want to see a return to the playoffs in 2020.

Outside Linebacker

The Rams have Aaron Donald up front, but not much else. And while he may be the best player in the league, without help he will see a great dip in effectiveness. A pass rusher on the outside would give him a little more room to operate inside and make this Rams defensive line respectable once again.

Running Back

Todd Gurley is officially gone after he looked like a special talent just a few years ago when they were super bowl contenders. The Rams have to take some pressure off Jared Goff and the ability to hand the ball of to a game changing running back would go a long way in doing that.

The Rams traded for Jalen Ramsey last year, who is one of the best corners in the game, but also lost Marcus Peters. This means that Los Angeles still needs a guy opposite Ramsey. Adding another young corner to Ramsey and safety Taylor Rapp would make this a good young secondary.
