The Miami Dolphins aren’t done wheeling and dealing, apparently. Just minutes after trading the third overall pick to the San Francisco 49ers for the 12th pick this year, and a first-rounder in 2022 and 2023, Miami sent the No. 12 overall, No. 123 overall, and a 2022 first-rounder to the Philadelphia Eagles for No. 6 overall and No. 156 overall.

Miami clearly has a plan, and they’re being aggressive moving up and down the board to accomplish their goal, whatever it may be.
Players who are expected to come off the board around the sixth pick include offensive tackle Penei Sewell, tight end Kyle Pitts, and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. All three would make sense for the Dolphins, who are looking to add to the support system around second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
As for the Eagles, the move down the board makes sense considering their likely first-round target. Philadelphia needs help at wide receiver and with several worthy first-round prospects at the position, they’re sure to get a quality starter at No. 12 overall. Adding an additional first-round pick is a no-brainer for an Eagles team that may be back in the quarterback market in 2022.
