NFL.com draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah updated his top-50 prospects for the 2022 NFL draft on Monday and there were some surprising risers and fallers mixed in.

Here are our 10 biggest takeaways from Jeremiah’s NFL draft rankings with less than one month to go before the first round kicks off.

Ahmad Gardner is No. 3 overall on Jeremiah’s big board

There isn’t much debate about who the top cornerback in the 2022 NFL draft is. Cincinnati’s Ahmad Gardner has passed LSU’s Derek Stingley Jr. on most big boards and is a consistent top-10 pick in mock drafts. But few analysts have Gardner ranked as high as Jeremiah does; ‘Sauce’ ranks third on Jeremiah’s top 50.

Jeremiah compares Gardner to Antonio Cromartie, who was a four-time Pro-Bowler and secured 31 interceptions during his impressive 11-year career. It’s high praise for the Bearcats’ top NFL draft prospect, and it’s fair. Gardner’s size and length (6-foot-3, 33.5-inch arms) is rare for cornerbacks. He’s an exceptional athlete, too.

I don’t think Gardner will be a top-five pick, but there’s little to no chance he’ll drop outside the top 10.
