Titans trade former first-round pick Isaiah Wilson to Dolphins

Isaiah Wilson trade

Isaiah Wilson’s tenure with the Titans didn’t last long after being picked by Tennessee in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

In fact, Wilson played just three snaps in his rookie season, one that was marred by injury and off-field maturity issues, including multiple violations of the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols.

On Monday, the Titans sent Wilson packing (along with a 2022 seventh-round pick) to the Dolphins for a seventh-round pick.

It’s safe to say Tennessee’s return on their investment in Wilson was, uh, bad.

Wilson is a talented player who obviously needs a change of scenery. Maybe he’ll get his act together in Miami. Or maybe he’ll be out of the league by the time the 2022 season rolls around.
