Here are the dates for the 2021 NFL draft

The NFL draft is traditionally held in or around the third week of April every year, and the 2021 NFL Draft will (more or less) stay true to that timeline.

The NFL set a tentative 2021 league calendar, which was shared by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero on Twitter.

The 2021 draft will kick off the last Thursday of April — April 29 — and run for three days, until May 1. It’s scheduled to take place in Cleveland, although the 2020 draft was forced to go virtual because of the novel coronavirus.

It’s impossible to predict what the 2021 draft season will be like in light of the still-raging COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 Senior Bowl is scheduled for late-January and the NFL combine is slated to take place one month later. The status of college pro days in March and private workouts in the weeks leading up to draft weekend is anyone’s guess.

In a year littered with so much uncertainty, at least we have a 2021 draft date.
