Lawrence is slated to be the opening-day starter for the Jaguars and has as much hype around his debut as any quarterback prospect since the days of Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck.
There’s little doubt Lawrence will rise to the occasion, assuming he can stay healthy. The Jaguars kick off the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the Houston Texans in a game that — on paper — appears very winnable for Lawrence’s first NFL exposure.
