The Kansas City Chiefs were the only team to select a running back in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft when they plucked LSU’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire with the 32nd overall pick.
Edwards-Helaire didn’t rank as the top running back in the class on most draft analysts big boards, but there’s no denying his ability to be a high-level contributor as both a runner and receiver in the Chiefs offense. He should have little trouble taking the starting job from veteran Damien Williams.
Fantasy football players take notice: Edwards-Helaire has a chance to be the most productive rookie back in 2020.
