The Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears got into the blockbuster trade conversation following Thursday’s deal that sent Khalil Mack to the Chargers in exchange for their second-round pick in 2022 and a sixth-round pick in 2023.

The Khalil Mack trade will have an obvious impact on the field. His presence on the Chargers defense will free up Joey Bosa to do more damage than he’s already accomplished as a solo artist. Bosa’s presence will help Mack in ways that he hasn’t benefited from up to this point in his career, too. Bosa and Mack are now, without a doubt, the most lethal pass-rushing tandem in the NFL.
