WATCH: Highlights of Ja’Marr Chase’s record-setting Week 17

Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase entered the NFL with high expectations after being selected fifth overall in the 2021 NFL draft. Through 17 weeks of his first season in the league, he’s exceeded them.

Chase entered Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs with 68 catches for 1,168 yards and 10 scores, and after four quarters and a thrilling Bengals’ victory, he added 11 more receptions, 266 yards, and three more scores to his total. His 266 yards were the most receiving yards in a single game for a rookie, and he’s now within striking distance of Justin Jefferson’s single-season rookie receiving record of 1,451 yards set in 2020.
