Alabama WR Jameson Williams suffers knee injury in National Championship game

Jameson Williams injury

Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury against Georgia in the National Championship game Monday night following one of his trademark field-flipping receptions. Here’s the play that he was injured on:

Williams eventually walked to the locker room under his own power, but the look of the injury has many fearing it was a dreaded ACL.

Williams is widely considered the top wide receiver prospect for the 2022 NFL Draft after recording 75 catches for 1,507 yards and 15 touchdowns entering Monday night’s game. We’ll have more on Williams’ injury as soon as information becomes available.
