Justin Fields shows off arm talent at second Pro Day

Justin Fields

Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields made his case to be the second player selected in the 2021 NFL draft following his second pro day at Ohio State on Wednesday when he uncorked a throw 50 yards downfield while rolling out to his left.

Fields has been the most over-analyzed and unfairly criticized prospect in the 2021 draft, but there’s still a chance — a good one — that he ends up being the 49ers pick at No. 3 overall. There’s a ton of smoke around Mac Jones being that guy, but it’s throws like the one above along with a resume of high-level production and incredible physical traits that make him our QB2 heading into draft weekend.
