Notre Dame offensive tackle Liam Eichenberg won’t travel to Indianapolis for medical evaluations after testing positive for COVID-19, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport tweeted on Thursday.
Notre Dame OT Liam Eichenberg, one of the draftās top O-linemen, is among the Fighting Irish players who isn't in Indy for medical evals after testing positive for COVID-19 after his Pro Day, sources say. DE Ade Ogundeji & OL Aaron Banks also tested positive & aren't in Indy.

The positive test isn’t expected to prevent Eichenberg and his Notre Dame teammates from having their medical evaluations conducted before the 2021 NFL Draft kicks off.
The plan is to bring back these players for medical evaluations in about 10 days, after they clear COVID-19 protocol. Several weeks out from the NFL Draft, there is still time. https://t.co/ztpVaKQHgw

Eichenberg is considered a first-round prospect — early second-round at worst — for the 2021 NFL Draft, which is scheduled to get underway on Thursday, April 29.
