Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and the first overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, Joe Burrow, suffered a season-ending knee injury on November 22, putting his status for the start of the 2021 regular season in doubt.
Burrow gave Bengals fans a Christmas gift on Friday, however, with a video of him taking his first steps since undergoing reconstructive surgery on his left knee earlier this month.

According to Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Burrow’s surgery, the Bengals’ franchise passer is on track to return in time for the 2021 season.
Prior to his injury, Burrow completed 65.3% of his passes for 2,688 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions in 10 games.
