New Orleans Saints Team Needs

Quarterback

Drew Brees just resigned on a short-term contract and it is time to start looking for his eventual replacement. It seems like every year the Saints are rumored to be interested in numerous quarterback prospects and this year should be no different.

Edge Rusher

Every team needs the ability to get to the opposing quarterback. Unfortunately this is something the Saints have been able to do enough and should be on the lookout for a dynamic edge rusher to add depth and a rotational piece to a promising young defense.

Tight End

Coby Fleener has not been the answer the team thought they were getting when they signed him as a free agent last offseason. Finding their next Jimmy Graham will add another dimension to an already dangerous offense.

Defensive Tackle

The defensive tackle position has had numerous players thrown at it to fix a glaring hole in the run game, but to no avail. Adding more starter quality players in the draft or depth behind the current starters to add a layer of competition could do a ton of good in 2108.

Offensive Line

Filling out their depth along the offensive line with pieces who can unseat some of the incumbent starters can instantly make this already dangerous rushing attack even stronger. Look for the team to find flexible prospects who can play multiple spots along the offensive line creating the best unit starting on game day.

Wide Receiver

Besides Michael Thomas there is no high-end talent at the wide receiver position, especially if Willie Snead leaves this offseason. Finding more talented pass catchers in an offense that annually leads the league in passing is never a bad choice.
