Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields is jockeying with BYU’s Zach Wilson to be the second quarterback selected in the 2021 NFL draft, and whoever ends up winning that battle is more than likely to be the second overall pick too.
One way Fields can improve his odds of being that guy is by performing at a high level at his March 30 college pro day. Fields is a better all-around athlete than Wilson, and if he runs the 40-yard dash as fast as he’s predicting, it’ll be hard justifying passing on his all-around skill set for Wilson, whose arm is graded higher than Fields’.
Check out this video where Fields not only runs a 4.41 40-yard dash but predicts he’ll clock a 4.39 too.
Had to let ‘em know. I’ll be in the 4.3’s by Pro Day.. ⚡️ pic.twitter.com/6JcFCqGVaJ
