School bio:
• Graduated in December of 2019 with a degree in human development and family science.
• Is a two-time team captain who has played in 44 career games with 180 tackles, 15.5 tackles-for-loss and five sacks.
• Has played in every game the past three seasons – 42 – which is impressive enough, until one considers he played at all in 2018 after injuring an Achilles tendon during spring practice.
• Is remarkably consistent: Borland’s recorded 50 or more tackles in each of the last three seasons and had three or more stops in in 12 of 14 games last season.
