The 2020 NFL draft class produced some incredible offensive skill players who certainly made fantasy football managers excited. Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert set an NFL record for the most completions and touchdown passes by a rookie, and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson eclipsed a rookie-mark that stood for 16 years.
Jefferson set the NFL rookie record for the most receiving yards by a first-year player, ending 2020 with an incredible 1,400yards. He broke Anquan Boldin‘s record of 1,377 yards that he set with the Arizona Cardinals in 2003.
Here’s Jefferson’s final stat line: 88 catches, 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns.
Check out the moment Jefferson set the record:

It’s worth noting that Jefferson also broke Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Randy Moss‘ franchise rookie record of 1,313 yards along the way. Jefferson paid homage to Moss during Week 17 with a pretty sick pair of cleats:

Jefferson was selected 22nd overall by the Vikings last April in what’s now amounted to a gigantic 2020 first-round steal.
