The 2021 NFL draft added a legitimate first-round offensive lineman on Friday with the news that Virginia Tech’s Christian Darrisaw has decided to turn pro. Darrisaw announced his decision via Twitter:

Darrisaw has been one of 2020’s biggest draft risers. He checked in at No. 18 on Mel Kiper’s updated big board and is considered a top-15 prospect by other NFL draft outlets.
Darrisaw (6-5, 315) was described as “a road grader in the running game who just mauls edge defenders” by Kiper. It’s a fair statement, and there’s a chance the former Hokie could sneak into the top 10 of the 2021 NFL draft.
