Florida tight end Kyle Pitts has been discussed as the top offensive weapon available in the 2021 NFL draft, and his performance at the Gators’ pro day on Wednesday did nothing to change that narrative.
Pitts checked-in at 6-5, 245 pounds and blazed a 4.44 40-yard dash which all but cemented his status as a top-five prospect in this year’s class. Check it out:
He just ran a 4.44u. ⏱🔥

Pitts’ performance comes on the heels of a dominant 2020 season when he caught 43 passes for 770 yards and 12 touchdowns in just eight games. He profiles as a Darren Waller (Raiders) type of weapon in the passing game on the next level, and to be honest, that comp might be his floor.
Pitts might be more in the Calvin Johnson bucket than the Waller one.
Regardless of which side of that debate you’re on, one thing is for sure: Pitts is going to become his future quarterback’s best friend, and it’ll happen quickly in the 2021 season.
