There may not be an NFL Combine for the 2021 NFL Draft, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get workout results from this year’s top draft prospects. There will be pro days and pop-up regional combine events like the one being held this week at ‘The House of Athlete’, organized by former NFL wide receiver, Brandon Marshall.
Several quality prospects participated in the HOA even, including Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes. He dazzled with a ridiculous 4.24 40-yard dash.
#Georgia CB Eric Stokes just ran a 4.25 (Unofficially)
If accurate it would be the 3rd fastest 40 yd dash time ever💨

Stokes’ time was recorded by Zybek, the same company the NFL uses for its laser times at the NFL Combine.
Is there a chance this is a ‘fast’ time, meaning, it’s a little faster than Stokes would’ve run in Indy? Maybe. But even if you add one-tenth to the final number, it’s still a blistering 4.34.
Stokes’ draft stock is on its way up because of this time. And while it may seem ridiculous that a 40-yard dash can push a player up the draft board, the NFL has always been a fast man’s game. Stokes proved on Friday that he’ll enter the NFL as one of the fastest players in the league.
Stokes entered the HOA event as a fringe top-50 prospect. He’ll start getting some first-round buzz now.
