Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was our top-ranked wideout for the 2021 NFL draft, and after being selected sixth overall by the Miami Dolphins, he’s setup for a breakout rookie season as the Dolphins’ explosive do-it-all threat for QB Tua Tagovailoa.
We got our first look at Waddle in his pro gear at the team’s rookie minicamp last week, and he didn’t disappoint. Waddle’s trademark explosion was on display even if it was just in helmets and shorts.

Waddle is saying all the right things, too. He’s a fan of Tagovailoa, stemming from their days as an effective combination at Alabama.
"He is just a natural leader. Natural born learn. He's confident. He knows what to do and is smart. Everything you want a leader to do Tua presents," Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle on his QB Tua Tagovailoa.

It’s safe to assume Waddle will get a ton of looks from Tua in 2021, making him a strong candidate to be the most productive rookie wide receiver this year.
