Stock UP 
Derrick Nnadi DT, Florida State
Derrick Nnadi’s season has mirrored that of Florida State’s, lots of ups and downs and while the Seminole’s season can be chalked up as a mitigated disaster Nnadi has a bright future ahead of him. The senior defensive tackle finished the season with 46 tackles, nine tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks and looked unblockable at times. His performance against Florida highlighted his penetrating ability and power that scouts are looking for. The big knock on Nnadi is his inconsistency, a player with his talent I should not disappear for stretches in the manner that he did this last season. Was Nnadi’s disappearing act a product of a hugely disappointing season for the Seminoles or something more? The predraft process will be vital in determining if Nnadi is an early round pick or a late round flier.
Drew Lock QB, Missouri
Yet another dark horse candidate has emerged in this tumultuous quarterback class in the form of Missouri’s Drew Lock. Lock is in the midst of a historic season as he has already set the SEC record for touchdowns in a single season with 43 and his play has been the catalyst for Missouri’s remarkable turnaround after a 1-5 start. There are a lot of things to like about Lock, primarily his size (6’4’’) and arm strength. While Lock’s completion percentage leaves a little to be desired (58.2), this can be attributed to the elevated number of drops by Tiger’s receivers and the high amount of vertical routes Lock is asked to throw. While still a bit of a raw prospect Lock has the skill to make the jump from a wide open college offense to the NFL and will be an intriguing prospect this offseason should he declare for the draft.
Keke Coutee WR, Texas Tech
Biletnikoff award semi-finalist Keke Coutee is the next in a long line of very productive Texas Tech wide receivers and is a player who should climb the rankings at his position as the pre-draft process moves along. The junior receiver has amassed 82 catches this season for 1242 yards and nine touchdowns and is one of just five players in the nation to top the 150 yard mark in four different games. More quick than fast, Coutee looks like an excellent slot prospect thanks to his sure hands and developed route running. In a wide receiver class that is very much in flux Coutee should find himself firmly in the upper mid-tier range if he were to declare for the 2018 NFL draft.
Skai Moore LB, South Carolina
If you were to look at Skai Moore’s career stats you would likely think he was a potential first round pick. The senior linebacker has amassed 346 tackles, twenty tackles for loss, five sacks, a whopping fourteen interceptions and three forced fumbles over four seasons of play for the Gamecocks. The big knock on Moore is his size. Measuring in at 6’2’’ 218 pounds Moore is way undersized compared to prototypical NFL linebackers and missed the 2016 season with a herniated disk in his neck. Moore has quelled any doubts about his recovery with his play this season as he is back to form as a human wrecking ball. Moore excels playing in space and has natural cover skill uncommon for linebackers. His size may scare some but Moore’s athleticism and competence in coverage will make him a sought after prospect as a nickle/dime linebacker in the NFL, a trend that more and more NFL teams are going towards.
